Margaret Bellamy
Margaret Bellamyis a 1983 graduate of Princeton University and a 1988 graduate of Harvard Law School. Before joining Langfitt PLLC, she spent more than twenty years as a professional consultant in the securities and real estate industries. In 2017, she began working as a consultant for retired and injured athletes navigating the NFL Concussion Settlement — and has not looked back since.
Since that transition, Margaret has helped hundreds of former NFL players move their claims through the Settlement process. Her work has included analyzing and preparing appeals, audits, and objections submitted to the Special Master and the Court. She is directly involved at every stage: assessing the strength of individual claims, coordinating neurological evaluations, arranging short-term and long-term care, and educating players and their families about the real-world implications of brain disease caused by football head injury. She makes sure players understand what they are facing — medically, legally, and financially — and that they are not navigating any of it alone.
Today, Margaret devotes her career to former athletes and their families confronting the consequences of football-related brain injury, and she is a core member of the Langfitt PLLC trial team pressing individual lawsuits against the NCAA on behalf of former college football players.
